Baby Photographer Olney

Working as a newborn photographer based in Olney means cuddling babies is part of my job. What could be better than that? Newborn babies grow fast, so these photos are extra special. Baby photographers are skilled at getting images you will treasure for years to come.

Having a baby can be overwhelming. You might feel stressed about taking your baby to a studio for hours. Newborn shoots take a long time. It’s much more relaxing to be at home, where it’s easy to change and feed the baby. You may have other children at home. Toddlers in particular are little whirlwinds, it’s much easier to manage them on home territory. Life with a newborn is busy, you may need to catch up with day to day things. Things like putting the washing on, making the dinner, or answering a few emails. In your own home, you can do all of these things while I concentrate on photographing the baby.

Getting beautiful newborn photos can be a slow process, one that involves lots of tea and coffee. If this sounds better than sitting in a studio, I could be the perfect photographer for you. This is also the baby’s first home, if you move house, these memories will be even more poignant when the baby grows up.

Newborn shoots don’t just focus on the new baby, they are about all of you as a family. We capture those precious early days, as the new member of the family settles into your home. Everyone can be in the images, but as a new Mum I know you may not be feeling your best. Don’t worry, I shoot from sensitive angles so you will love the photos.

I love to get playful shots of you all and whilst I don’t pose you too much, I do direct you for the best results.

I am based in Olney near Milton Keynes and will travel to your home for the shoot. If you like the idea of a home shoot please get in touch, it’s a lovely relaxed process, we drink lots of tea, do lots of chatting and there is no rush whilst we get you a gorgeous set of images. Newborn shoots take around 4 hours working around all the changes and feeds etc.. If you’d like a mini-shoot these can be done once the baby is able to sit up on their own really solidly generally around the 6 month mark.
