Pre-shoot Planning and Mood Board

While planning Claudia’s shoot it was important to work out how we could get a Spanish feel into the images. We discussed how to do this through colour, location and props and included royal blue and yellow colouring through clothing, blue glass and lemons. Our aim was to create vibrant, joyful photos full of sunshine.

It’s always important to include personal images and Claudia told me she recently booked a client based on the images taken with the her dog. Sometimes it’s a small connection that makes your website stand out from one of your competitors.

Laptop images – showing the client working at home

It’s always good to grab some images of people working at home, so I often take images on the laptop or show people working on the go. Taking some laptop images outdoors helped to give that sense of sunny places that we were keen to create.

Claudia’s Process when working with clients

Claudia takes the time to get to know the client, asking about the little details, hearing each individual’s love story. She then weaves these details into personalised ceremonies that are meaningful and full of heart.
